April 5. Brazil vs Mexico national soccer teams game ticket sales start at
10am
Probably you've heard already that there will be a soccer game between Mexican and Brazilian national soccer teams in College Station (Kyle field) on June 8.
The tickets will go on sale April 5 at 10am (please mark your calendars if you are interested!)
The price will be known only on April 5.

April 5. First Friday in Historic Downtown Bryan
5pm - 10pm
Location: 110 South Main Street Bryan, TX

Fun family-friendly evening in the most beautiful part of Bryan! This month's activities include free line dancing with Aggie Wranglers.

April 8. Solar eclipse
The partial eclipse begins at about 12:20 p.m., and totality starts at 1:36 p.m.
Please use these tips from NASA and never look at the sun without special equipment/safety measures during the eclipse.

April 9 and every Tuesday in April. Free Pool Tuesdays at Four Downs Sports Bar
4pm to midnight

Do you play pool? This might be a nice place to play in College Station.

April 11 Friends of Chamber Music present Chantecleer
7 PM
Location: Rudder Theater
Tickets:

Kids 5 and under - free.
Founded by Louis Botto in 1978 in San Francisco, Chanticleer is a multiple Grammy Award-winning a cappella ensemble celebrating its 46th season this year. On stage with Chantecleer will be 100 students of Texas A&M University Century Singers!

April 15. International Music Festival
6 pm - 8 pm
Location: Aggie Park on campus
Free event, registration needed
The International Music Festival will be hosted by the Aggie Global Guides - the event is promoting international music styles and celebrating the organizations on campus that feature them.
There will be performances from multicultural dance groups on campus, a DJ, food trucks (Bad Chx and Taqueria Puro Potosino), a popcorn machine, outdoor games and more.

April 16 . The Local
4PM-7pm
Location: 4107 Lake Atlas Drive, Bryan
Free event
With a variety of handcrafted wares and live music at the scenic outdoor pavilion – The Local helps you support local artists and inspire the artisan in us all.
Lake Walk is the perfect destination to spend a leisurely afternoon with friends and family.

April 26. International Spouse Forum Meeting

April 28 Annual scholar picnic at Lake Bryan
10 am-3pm
Location: Lake Bryan Pavilion
Free event, requires registration
All J-1 students and scholars, their dependents, friends, and pets are welcome to join, as well as TAMU Global Engagement employees and their families.
ISSS will provide drinks(it will be... something new!) and desserts. Please bring a dish you'd like to share. We'll also have a soccer ball, frisbee, badminton, and other outdoor games. Lake Bryan entrance fees for our guests will be paid by ISSS.
Also, hope everyone who is interested in attending will be able to get a ride, so if you need a ride or can give a ride - please answer the related questions on the form, and I'll get back to you in mid-April.
