With nearly 100 objects representing the best of American music, the exhibit—curated by the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music (BSACAM) at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey—tells the story of how music has informed, interpreted, and inspired our national identity since it was founded nearly two-and-a-half centuries ago.

Birding 101

New and experienced birders are invited to sharpen their birding skills with the Rio Brazos Audubon Society. Learn to identify birds by sight and sound, use field guides and binoculars, and explore the Brazos Valley's native and migrating species. The class meets at the nature center and hikes through Lick Creek Park's trails. Dress appropriately for the outdoors and wear closed-toed shoes. Binoculars are available to borrow at the Gary Halter Nature Center. Registration isn’t required.

Cranksgiving is a food drive on two wheels that is part bike ride, part food drive, part scavenger hunt. The ride will be about 10-13 miles long with 4 grocery stores checkpoints. At each checkpoint, riders are asked to purchase non-perishable goods to be donated to Brazos Valley Food Bank. We encourage all riders to bring along their family, friends, and co-workers as this event is more fun to do in a group! All you need to participate is a bike, backpack, lock, helmet and a sense of adventure. Instead of a formal registration fee, we do ask for each participant to bring a personal care item to be donated when they register at the start of the race. The Brazos Valley Food Bank is always in need of shampoo, deodorant, diapers, paper towels and toilet paper. Will there be prizes? Yes! We will have prizes for the most generous riders, fastest and more. Is there an afterparty? Of course! Join us at Aggieland Cycling after the ride for cold drinks, food and fun.

International Education Week

International Education Week (IEW) is a national event that celebrates and promotes the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. Texas A&M University is a leader in study abroad opportunities and offers numerous international education opportunities here on campus! From Nov. 17-21, 2025, we invite all Aggies to take time to explore languages, cultures, foods and other educational opportunities to expand our understanding of the entire world.
Anyone who attends an IEW event can enter a raffle to win a box filled with international snacks. During the week of Nov 17-21, a short event survey form will be available on this website and also a QR code will be displayed at each event. Complete one survey for each event you attend and each time you complete a survey you are entered into the raffle.

Music for the Ocean is a multimedia concert experience by composer-violinist Chad Cannon, combining music, animation, and sound design to create an immersive “nature documentary for the concert hall”. Featuring celebrated concert pianist Hui Wu, Emmy-winning animator Tim Rauch, tech/sound director William Chen, and lighting designer Evan Murnane, this fundraiser supports Tela Coral, a non-profit preserving endangered reefs in Tela, Honduras.
